Best regardsWhen to use this template
- QBR scheduling email setting up the quarterly meeting with executive sponsors and stakeholders.
- Pre-meeting agenda template with the standard sections (account health, value delivered, roadmap, asks).
- Post-QBR follow-up summarizing decisions and the action items each side committed to.
Customize for your workflow
- Lead the QBR with value delivered — actual outcomes the customer can attribute to your product. Skip generic 'how's it going?' for the kickoff.
- Bring a specific ask. QBRs without an ask are easy to deprioritize. 'Want to know if you'd consider a multi-year' beats 'just checking in'.
Common questions
Who should attend a QBR?
Customer side: economic buyer + day-to-day champion. Vendor side: CSM + an executive sponsor on the customer side. Smaller meetings are more productive.
What if the customer says they're too busy for QBR?
Adjust format. 30 minutes async via email plus a 15-minute call beats forcing a 60-minute meeting that gets canceled. Adapt to their reality.
