Customize for your workflow
- Always edit before sending. AI-generated replies feel almost-right but tend to over-acknowledge or sound formulaic. Edit the opening and closing for your voice.
- Make role-specific snippets. zsupport-tier1 with a different tone than zsupport-escalation produces visibly different drafts.
- Add specifics: '...and propose a 15-minute call this week' produces a much more actionable reply than a vague 'follow up'.
Common questions
Does it know what the conversation was about?
Only what you copy. Highlight the message you're replying to before firing the snippet. The more context you include, the better the reply.
Won't every reply sound the same?
If you fire the same snippet on similar inputs, yes — that's the trade-off for speed. For higher-stakes replies, write the first paragraph yourself, then use zreply for the body.
Can it handle a thread with multiple messages?
Yes — copy the whole thread. The AI will reply to the most recent message but use the earlier context for tone and reference.
