How it works

Convert Markdown to PDF in three steps

  1. 01

    Open or paste

Drop a .md file onto the page, or paste your Markdown into the document.

  2. 02

    Check it

It's formatted as you look at it, so you see the PDF before you make it. Fix anything right there.

  3. 03

    Save as PDF

File > Download > PDF opens your browser's print dialog. Choose Save as PDF, and you're done.

What it does

A converter you can see before you save

Most converters are a black box. Here the document is in front of you the whole time.

Download a document as Markdown, a web page or a PDF from the File menu
  1. Tables and code survive

Tables keep their borders and columns, code blocks keep their monospace, and checklists keep their boxes.

  2. Edit before you export

Spot a typo or a broken table? Fix it in place, then save. No round trip to another app.

  3. Private

The file is read by your browser and never uploaded. The PDF is made on your computer.

  4. Several files, one after another

Open a batch as tabs and save each one as its PDF.

  5. Other formats too

The same menu saves the file as Markdown or as a web page (.html).

Take it further

The same editor, without the browser tab

This editor comes from TypeFire, a free app for Markdown notes, a text expander and a clipboard manager. Here it works on the files you open. In the app, it opens your whole folder.
