Appearance and language

Settings → Appearance has light, dark or follow the system, and a second choice of surface: Standard, Dim (soft graphite), Warm (parchment and sepia) or Cool (blue-gray and slate), which recolors the window and the canvas behind it. The sun-and-moon button at the foot of the sidebar switches mode without opening Settings. TypeFire speaks eight languages and picks yours from the browser; Settings → General changes it. This guide is in English.
