Markdown files from anywhere

A Markdown file doesn't have to be in your notes folder to open in TypeFire. In Notes, choose New, then Open Markdown File, and pick any .md or .txt file on your computer. Or drag the file onto the TypeFire tab. It opens in its own tab with the full editor, and Save writes your changes back to that same file. Chrome asks once to allow saving.

After you restart Chrome, a file you opened this way asks once more before it shows again: click Open the file and Chrome lets TypeFire read it. A file you only want to keep can go into your notes folder with Save as note.
