Pro for free, by inviting people

Invite five people. When five of them sign up, in the extension or the Mac app, Pro unlocks for you permanently, here and on your Macs. Not a trial and not a discount.

It lives in Settings, Pro for FREE. Type an address, and TypeFire creates an invite link you can send however you like. The screen shows who has joined and how many are left, and a row in the sidebar keeps the count once your trial ends.

A few rules worth knowing, so nothing looks broken:

• A referral counts once the person signs in, in the extension or the Mac app. Either one is enough.
• An invite has to come before the other person signs up. Inviting somebody who is already a TypeFire user does not count.
• Somebody signing up on your own Mac does not count.
• A person counts once, ever, for whoever invited them first.

The screen tells you when a referral joined but did not count, rather than leaving you to wonder why the number did not move. If you already own Pro you can still invite people; there is simply nothing left to unlock, and the screen is called Invite friends instead.
