Collections and tags

Collections are folders in your vault. Click + next to COLLECTIONS to add one; right-click to rename, delete or nest. Tags are labels in the snippet's frontmatter; click one in the sidebar to filter.

Favorites only appears in the sidebar once you have starred something, and if you unstar your last favorite while viewing it, TypeFire takes you back to All Snippets.

Deleting a collection asks what to do with what is in it: move the snippets to the top level and remove the empty collection, or send the collection and its snippets to the Trash. The same question is asked for a notes folder. Nothing is deleted for good from inside the app.
