Docs AI apps (MCP)

Privacy

  • AI apps reach TypeFire through a private connection that only your macOS user account can open. Nothing listens on the network, so no website or other computer can reach it.
  • Nothing goes through TypeFire's servers. Whatever an AI app reads is up to that app: a cloud AI sends what it reads to its own servers, the way it does with anything else you give it, and a local model in LM Studio keeps everything on your Mac.
  • Recent activity in Settings → AI apps (MCP) lists the last 20 requests: when, which app, what it did and to which note. The list stays on your Mac.
  • TypeFire's anonymous daily usage count includes how many requests AI apps made and which kind of app made the most. No note names and no content.
