Tokens and AI
What a snippet can do beyond pasting text: fill in dates and fields, run AI on a selection, chain prompts and run scripts.

- Dynamic tokens
Placeholders that resolve when the snippet expands. Wrap in double braces: {{token}} .
- AI tokens
AI tokens run text through a model at expansion time and paste the result. The shape is {{ai:action}} or {{ai:action:modifier}} , where the modifier is free-form text appended to the instruction.
- Selection Prompt
The fastest path from "this text is wrong" to "this text is right": select text in any app, press a shortcut, and AI rewrites it in place.
- Prompt Chains
A chain runs several prompts in sequence, feeding each step the previous step's output. One hotkey, several passes.
