Creating and managing snippets

• Click + New in the toolbar.
• Give it a title (required) and a body (what gets pasted).
• Optionally add an abbreviation, tags, collections, a keyboard shortcut, and a description (notes for yourself; never pasted).
• Press Save once for a new snippet. From then on it saves itself as you type, and the shortcut field appears.
• Drag and drop a snippet onto a sidebar folder to move it, or right-click and use Move To.

Several at once

Hover a snippet and a checkbox appears over its icon. Tick one and every row gets a box, and a bar at the top of the list shows how many you've picked. From the bar you can move them all to a collection, add a tag to all of them, or delete them.

• While anything is ticked, a click on a row ticks it instead of opening it.
• ⇧-click ticks everything between two rows. ⇧-click with nothing ticked starts from the snippet that's open.
• ⌘A ticks every snippet in the list, Esc clears the ticks, and ⌘⌫ deletes the ticked ones after asking.
• A deleted snippet goes to the Trash, so you can get it back from there. A few drives have no Trash, such as some network and external drives. There, TypeFire asks once whether to delete for good instead.
