What it is

You keep your notes in TypeFire. With AI apps connected, you can ask Claude to "save this plan to my Work vault", ask Cursor what you decided about the database last week, or have a chat app turn a conversation into a meeting note with the right tags. The AI does it in your files, as Markdown, exactly as if you had written it yourself.

It's on from the first launch, and an AI app can use it once you connect that app (see the next section). TypeFire doesn't need to be open in a window. If it isn't running when an AI app asks, it starts in the menu bar on its own.
