A snippet from the clipboard

Copy anything, then + New → Quick Capture from Clipboard. A new snippet opens with the clipboard already in the body. Give it a title and an abbreviation.

With Clips enabled, Save as snippet on any text clip does the same thing for something you copied earlier. It asks for a name, prefilled from the clip's first line, and the clip becomes the snippet body.
